The lifeline alarm is the main Telecare alarm unit. All other sensors such as the pendant, or smoke detectors send their signals to the dispersed alarm when they are pressed or activated. The Dispersed alarm then tells the control centre what has happens to the operator has all of the information available. The operator can then speak to you to see if you're ok, or call the emergency services if necessary. Remember the call centre will always speak to you first, so dont worry about false activations!
