GSM Telecare Alarm

The GSM Dispersed alarm works in exactly the same was as the standard Dispersed alarm but has one difference, it does not require a telephone line as it works in the same way a mobile phone does. If a pendant is pressed or a smoke alarm is activated then a signal will be sent to the GSM dispersed alarm. The GSM dispersed alarm will then tell the control centre what has happened, for example 'Mrs Julie Peters has pressed her pendant' or 'The smoke alarm has activated in Mrs Julie Peters hallway'. The control centre operator will then speak to you to see if you're ok. The GSM will require a contract SIM card to make calls, it will work with a pay as you go SIM card, however this is not recommended incase the SIM card runs out of credit during an emergency.
