Carer Pager

A Carer pager works in a similair way to the dispersed alarm. The Carer pager will be held by a relative or carer living with the telecare user. If the pendant is pressed or another sensor is activated such as the smoke detector then it will send a signal to the carer pager. The carer pager will then beep loudly, the carer/relative can then see on the screen of the carer pager what has happened for instance 'Julie has pressed her pendant' or 'Smoke alarm activated in the Hallway'. This allows the carer/relative to take action. The carer pager is suitable for those who have someone who looks after them on a 24 hour basis and does not want their alarms to call through to a control centre.
